MANX NATIONAL YOUTH THEATRE ...
The Manx National Youth Theatre is a group for Young people aged 7 - 21 who meet to present performances, shows, pantomimes and films funded by the Department of Education in Douglas Youth Centre's own fully functional theatre.
A store room of costumes, props and scenery and a wealth of experience from dedicated staff makes the Manx National Youth Theatre one of the best respected youth theatre groups on the island. A member of the National Association of Youth Theatres, the Special project takes a performance to the Big Youth Theatre Festival in London every year.
Wednesday Night (Play Service) |
The Play Service, aged 7 - 11 are learning their craft and concentrate mainly on 'play and pretend' projects. They use props and costumes to create their own works for performance.
School Years 4-6 - 6.00pm till 7.30pm |

Wednesday Night (Youth Group) |
The Youth Group, aged 11 - 14 start on script works and concentrate on characterisation and backstage work, using scripts and props to create performances.
School Years 7-8 - 7.30pm till 9.00pm |

Thursday Night (Special Project) |
| The Special Project aged 14 - 21 consists of more experienced senior members of the group who get involved at all levels of performances from writing, scripting, productions, and backstage work.
School Years 10+ - 7.00pm till 9.00pm |
